2019 Mazda3 Redesign Overview

As always, the new 2019 Mazda3 was created by following the KODO soul of motion design. However, more specifically, the 2019 Mazda3 has taken some stylish cues from the previously revealed Mazda Kai concept model. This has gone to further refine its sleek and elegant design.

Differentiating the sedan and hatchback models of the 2019 Mazda3, the design teams at Mazda wanted to create a unique and lasting image for each. Dynamic power was drawn out for the hatchback to make an impact whereas a crisp and sophisticated look was developed for the sedan build. In this way, Mazda has offered a distinct personality and feeling to each variant of the 2019 Mazda3.

However, regarding both builds, the 2019 Mazda3 has been built using new structure technology developed by Mazda titled as SKYACTIV®-Vehicle Architecture. This has made the structural components of the new 2019 Mazda3 more balanced, aiding its striking appearance with a natural driving experience that’s fluid, stress-free, and satisfying. Additionally, this has further helped with noise suppression, creating a serene driving experience when in control in the “Vanishing Point” cockpit.

2019 Mazda3 Exterior and Interior Design Changes

Focusing on more specific changes to the design, the 2019 Mazda3 redesign brings a new lamp design to the exterior and a new Greige fabric option for the interior. Although all color options have not yet been announced, Mazda has let it be known that the hatchback variant of the redesigned 2019 Mazda3 will have an exclusive Polymetal Gray exterior color option and an exclusive Burgundy interior color option.
