Television is a major part of people’s lives, whether they want to admit it or not. It might just be on in the background or you may be such a fan that you having viewing parties of your favorite show. Either way, television is is celebrated every year at the Emmys. This year at the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards, there is always a wide range of shows nominated this year, just like there are a wide range of Mazdas available at Mazda of Lodi. This begs the question: What Emmy nominated show matches your Mazda?

1. Mazda 2
The 2014 Mazda2 is a reliable four door hatchback sedan. It has good fuel economy and has room for up to five passengers. It also has a decent amount of trunk space. This vehicle would be perfect for the Emmy nominated show, “The Big Bang Theory”. It is the perfect size for the four main guys to go to comic con, the medieval fair or any star gazing trip.

That’s why the Mazda3 would be the show “Veep”. The vice president often has to travel across the country, especially during re election season. The Mazda CX-9 would be a perfect car for the Dunphy clan.

3. Mazda CX-9
The 2014 CX-9 is a seven seat SUV. It has BlueTooth capabilities and has enough space for the whole family plus all the things they need to bring with them. I think you know where this is going, the CX-9 is perfect match for “Modern Family”. The Dunphy clan would easily be able to travel in this car with room for Alex’s science fair project, Phil’s real estate signs, and more.

4. Mazda Miata
The Mazda Miata is everyone’s favorite two door roadster. It is a thrill to drive and feel the wind in your hair. This is a stretch, but I think it would be the a good pair with “Downton Abbey”. I know, I know it doesn’t really make sense, but there’s nothing we would love to see more than to see the Dowager Countess behind the wheel of a Miata.

5. Mazda6
The Mazda6 is all about affordable luxury. It has all the features you need in a car including the legendary SkyActiv technology. It’s efficient and perfect for riding up to any press conference or meeting in style. That’s why it’s a good fit for “House of Cards”. This car means business. We can almost see Frank Underwood making death threats from the backseat.
