What is SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS?

The SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS provide integrated control of the engine, transmission, chassis and body to give the driver the most control over their Mazda. It was built to further connect car and driver to help differentiate Mazda from other brands. Mazda also has advanced G-Vectoring Control within the SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS to create smoother transitions while braking, turning and accelerating.

SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS with G-Vectoring Control

The G-Vectoring Control (GVC) technology advances the unified feel that comes in Mazda vehicles. The point of GVC is to make your drive as smooth as possible, and allow the passengers to feel comfortable and supported in their Mazda. GVC is the first technology that unites lateral and longitudinal acceleration and optimize the vertical loading of each tire to realize smooth and efficient vehicle behavior. This reduces the need for steering corrections. There are a number of benefits to GVC, including:

  • Driver confidence increases as car behaves as expected. With less steering corrections necessary, drivers will feel more confident behind the wheel as their Mazda moves as they intended it to.
  • More enjoyment out of a comfortable ride. Again, with fewer steering corrections to be made, drivers will feel less tired behind the wheel and can enjoy each ride more.
