New Machine Gray Paint Color for the 2017 Mazda6

The Machine Gray Metallic option is new for 2017. You may have initially seen it displayed on the 2016 Mazda CX-9, but it has now made its way to Mazda’s midsize sedan. It is the second premium finish color available, accompanying Soul Red Metallic. To explain it, we think Mazda says it best:

In order to create the color, Mazda had to utilize the same Takuminuri painting technology used for the popular Soul Red Metallic color and advance it. Aluminum flakes have been aligned in a pattern inside a 2.5 microns thick reflective layer to produce a realistic metallic look.
