2018 Mazda6 Specs and Features
The Mazda6 was designed with drivers in mind, offering both a SKYACTIV-®-MT 6-speed manual transmission and a SKYACTIV-®-AT 6-speed automatic transmission. The Camry only offers an automatic transmission.
Both the 2018 Mazda6 and the Toyota Camry offer an additional engine option that offers improved power and performance. The Mazda6 features an available 250-hp, SKYACTIV®-G 2.5T Dynamic Pressure Turbo engine with SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS and G-Vectoring Control. The 2018 Toyota Camry features an available 301-hp, 3.5-liter V6 engine. While the Camry's best available engine is more powerful (250-hp vs 301-hp), the Mazda6's best available engine is smaller (2.5-liter vs 3.5-liter) and more efficient while still offering comparable power and performance numbers.
While style and comfort are difficult to compare, the new interior of the 2018 Mazda6 is luxurious and sophisticated unlike any midsize sedan. The new interior of the 2018 Mazda6 includes wider and more comfortable seating (available nappa leather), UltraSuede® NU trim, exotic Japanese Sen Wood, Windshield-projected Active Driving Display head-up unit and more!
