While the new 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata is fitted with the same SKYACTIV®-G 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine as the previous year's model, the new model will offer drivers more power! The SKYACTIV®-G 2.0-liter engine of the 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata now offers 181 horsepower (at 7,000 rpm) - a 17 percent increase over the previous year model's 155 horsepower (at 6,800 rpm).
