The driving video game Forza Horizon 2 is well known territory for Mazda. In December, they teamed up with Xbox to create a contest in which players could create a custom paint job for the 1994 Mazda MX-5. Now, the 2016 Miata is coming to the video game and could be the only way to try out this highly anticipated model before the rest of the population.

The first way to snag this gorgeous vehicle is simply through a free download on the Xbox One. Just log in to Xbox Live through the Xbox One and find the Mazda landing page to download the Mazda MX-5 Car Pack, which will give you access to the 2016 MX-5 Miata, 2010 Super20 SEMA concept car, 1990 MX-5 and 2005 MAZDASPEED MX-5.

Sounds neat, right? It gets even better. Once you have downloaded the 2016 Miata for Forza Horizon 2, you can compete in the new Time Trial Rivals contest starting March 17 and ending April 30. By competing, you could win a real, physical 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata. When we say real, we actually mean real, like the Miata we would offer at our dealership.

To win this real life Miata, players will need to visit the games, music, movies or apps channel on Xbox Live and click on a Mazda MX-5 ad to register. They will be required to drive the 2016 Miata on the Sisteron Perimeter Sprint Track in the Mazda MX-5 Challenge. If you get one of the two fastest times, you will be whisked away to Los Angeles for a final race in which the winner drives away with a 2016 Miata.
